According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A computer-implemented process of recording evidentiary data is provided, comprising: allocating a storage space for digital evidentiary data within a physical memory present on a recording device and isolated from the outside of the device; acquiring the evidentiary data following the detection of a predetermined event; recording the evidentiary data in the storage space; associating with the evidentiary data digital certification data including at least a date and a time of acquisition corresponding to the date and time of the acquisition of the evidentiary data, that is, the date and time of the occurrence of the predetermined event; sending via encrypted communication means exclusively the certification data to a storage environment external to the device and accessible by at least one user external to the device; and storing the certification data in the storage environment in such a way as to enable at least said external user to view the certification data subsequent to the acquisition of the evidentiary data."
