According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system (100) and a method (300) of ration distribution. The system (100) operates as an automated ration distribution platform enabling secure identity verification and precise commodity dispensing. The system (100) coordinates biometric acquisition, entitlement processing, dispensing control, and data synchronization. A fingerprint scanner (104), an iris scanner (106), and a facial recognition unit (108) acquire biometric data for beneficiary authentication using sequential validation logic. A display unit (110) presents transaction prompts, quota details, and confirmation messages, while an audio output unit (112) delivers multilingual guidance and alerts. Upon successful authentication, the system (100) retrieves entitlement data through a cloud server interface (120). Authorized dispensing commands activate an electromechanical dispensing unit (116) and one or more solenoid valves (118) to release ration commodities. A load cell sensor (114) measures dispensed quantities in real time, enabling accurate delivery and verification."
