MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641049798 A) filed by Devu Sridhar; and Dr. Sahitya Devu, Kondapur, Telangana, on April 19, for 'system and method of intelligent imaging using radio frequency image sensors.'
Inventor(s) include Devu Sridhar; and Dr. Sahitya Devu.
The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A closed-loop, AI-driven imaging platform centred on a Radiology Mission Hub (RMH) (100) is disclosed, comprising a Power Subsystem (200), a five-axis motorised Motor Control Unit (300) controlling three linear axes (301-303) and two rotational axes (304-305), an Image Processing Unit (400) comprising Sensor Fusion Engine (2240) and Image Quality Metrics Module (2330), and a modality-agnostic Imaging System (500) operable as X-ray, RF, or ultrasound source via interchangeable drivers (2520, 2530, 2540). The RMH (100) orchestrates four operating modes - Manual, Remote Command, Semi-Automated, and Fully Automated - with automatic fallback based on Confidence Score (2270). A three-layer Pre-Activation Radiation Gate (2100) comprising hardware (2110), software (2120), and vision (2130) interlocks physically prevents radiation activation until all layers confirm safe. Closed-loop Image Quality Metrics (2330) drive iterative motor repositioning (2370) and recapture without human intervention. Dose Optimisation Engine (2430) minimises patient radiation dose. Built-in tests (2610-2630) implement fail-safe response (2650-2690) on fault detection."
