The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a system (300) for managing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) delivery operations. The system includes a user management module (306) receiving delivery requests from a user device (302) and a drone management module (308) determining availability of third-party UAVs (316). When a UAV is available, a marketplace module (310) assigns it, and a route planning and simulation module (312) generates an optimized flight route (516) using map data (504), weather data (508), and no-fly zones (506), enabling execution in simulation (212A) or live-flight mode (212B). A tracking and notification module (314) monitors UAV movement, transmits status updates, verifies completion using package data (108), triggers retries upon failure, and issues delay notifications when no UAVs (316) are available."
