According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A smart traffic management system (100) for emergency vehicles that ensures rapid passage of ambulances (102) and authorized private vehicles. The system comprises a mobile application (101) to book ambulances, set hospital destinations, and manage traffic functions. An ambulance communication unit (103) with GPS transmits real-time location to a central control system (106), which communicates with a smart traffic signal system (104) equipped with a blue light (104A) for priority clearance. A private vehicle kit (105), including a removable wireless siren and light system (105A), is enabled when an ambulance is unavailable, subject to biometric and ID verification via a verification module (107). A penalty system (108) prevents misuse through refundable point deductions. The invention provides automated traffic clearance, accident location display, and adaptability for urban and rural infrastructures, reducing delays in emergency response."
