MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511114705 A) filed by IIMT College of Engineering, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Nov. 20, 2025, for 'system and method for securing cloud data.'
Inventor(s) include Ms. Heena Arora; Dr. Ajay Kumar Sahu; Mr. Bittu Kumar Aman; Mr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava; and Mr. Satya Pal Singh.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a system (100) for securing cloud data, the system (100) comprising: a classification module (102) configured to classify input data into sensitive and non-sensitive categories using a K-nearest neighbour algorithm; a cryptographic module (104) coupled to the classification module (102), and configured to encrypt the sensitive data using RSA and AES algorithms; and a storage module (106) coupled to the cryptographic module (104), and configured to store encrypted data in a cloud environment securely."
