MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611051968 A) filed by Voltworks Technologies Private Limited, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 23, for 'system and method for regulation of direct current (dc) for overcurrent conditions.'
Inventor(s) include Rishabh Singh; Himanshu Sahu; Devendra Chaudhary; Awanish Kumar Yadav; and Abdul Wafa.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a system and method for regulation of direct current (DC), the system comprising an initiation module 101 to initiate a control loop for an input DC signal, an (ADC) 102 for sampling of input DC signal, an (AWD) 103 configured with an upper DC threshold value, a comparator module 104 to compare sampled DC signal value with the upper DC threshold value, an interrupt module 105 to trigger an overcurrent flag upon detection of the sampled DC signal exceeding the threshold value and capture an instantaneous pulse width modulation (PWM) duty cycle as a first and a second variable, a control module 106 to switch to an overcurrent limiting mode on receiving the overcurrent flag for executing the loop to adjust duty cycle until the sampled DC signal value recedes the threshold value, and a recovery module 107 to verify a plurality of recovery conditions."
