Further, the method includes fetching (506), during the registration of the UE (104), a subscription data of the UE from a Unified Data Management (UDM) (314). The method further includes determining (508) whether the subscription data includes information indicating that the UE (104) is subscribed to a plurality of network slices. Furthermore, the method includes initiating (510) UE policy association establishment with a Policy Control Function (PCF) (316) based on a result of the determination that the subscription data includes the information indicating that the UE (104) is subscribed to the plurality of network slices."
