MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611007803 A) filed by Acic Miet Meerut Foundation; Sahil Gulati; Priyanshu Rajput; and Prashant Kumar Gupta, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on Jan. 27, for 'system and method for real-time sensor-driven agricultural decision support with backend-validated hazard alerting.'
Inventor(s) include Sahil Gulati; Priyanshu Rajput; and Prashant Kumar Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A real-time agricultural decision support system (100) and method (200) are disclosed. The system (100) comprises field-deployed sensor units (102) configured to generate soil, environmental, and hazard-related data, a controller unit (104) transmitting the data as a continuous real-time stream to a backend (106), and a preprocessing module (108) with storage (110). An artificial intelligence processing core (112) generates actionable agricultural recommendations presented to a farmer through a web-based user interface (120). A hazard detection and alerting module (118) performs temporal validation of continuously streamed sensor data over a predefined time window to determine a validated hazard condition. Upon validation, the backend autonomously initiates alert actions without local decision-making or human intervention at the sensor units (102). The method (200) enables reliable, real-time advisory and hazard alerting with reduced false positives and simplified field hardware."
