Ltd., Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, on June 18, for 'system and method for real-time multi-device shared-session ordering system with automatic item-level bill splitting.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system and method for managing restaurant orders, comprise a server having a processor and a memory; a session management module configured to generate a dynamic session token upon detection of a first user device scanning an anchor code at a dining location, set to expire upon a predetermined session termination event; a device attribution module configured to assign a unique device identifier to each user device, an order processing module configured to receive menu item selections from multiple user devices concurrently, create association between item selection and the unique device identifier, and maintain a shared order state comprising device-attributed sub-orders; a synchronization module configured to broadcast order updates to all user devices participating in the session in real-time; a bill processing module configured to automatically calculate individual payment amounts for each device-attributed sub-order; and a payment coordination module configured to generate separate payment requests for each user device."
