MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441067492 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Sept. 6, 2024, for 'system and method for providing assistance support in ultra high reliability (uhr) capability framework.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a method for providing assistance support by an access point (AP) in Ultra High Reliability (UHR) capability framework. The method comprises transmitting, to a station (STA), a beacon frame comprising AP assistance capability support information and receiving, from the STA, an association request frame. The association request comprises STA assistance information including at least a STA assistance type identity (ID), a Length of the STA assistance information, and a STA specific assistance capabilities. The method further comprises establishing a connection with the STA for providing assistance support to the STA during one or more events based on the association request."
