MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521105387 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology, Maharashtra, on Oct. 31, for 'system and method for manufacturing polymer composite from polypropylene-based alumina packaging waste.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system and a method for manufacturing polymer composite from polypropylene-based alumina packaging waste contaminated with alumina. The polymer composite composition comprises a homogeneous mixture of a polypropylene-based alumina packaging waste and an inorganic particulate filler, wherein the homogeneous mixture comprises polypropylene-based alumina packaging waste and inorganic particulate filler in a ratio in the range of 85:15 to 60:40."
