According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system and a method for managing charging of a battery. The system500 and method100 include a monitoring module502, a zone identification module504, a selection module506, and a control module508 to perform multiple steps. The monitoring module502 receives a plurality of real-time operating data from one or more sensors associated with the battery. Further, the zone identification module504 is configured to identify a current degradation zone of the battery from among a plurality of predefined degradation zones, based on the plurality of battery health parameters. The selection module506 selects a charging profile from among a plurality of predefined charging profiles corresponding to the identified current degradation zone. Further, the control module508 controls the charging of the battery in accordance with the selected charging profile to reduce degradation of the battery."
