MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531133712 A) filed by Kalinga Institute Of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'system and method for managing and processing data in distributed computing environments.'

Inventor(s) include Swain, Sarat Chandra; Das, Madhab Chandra; Patel, Ranjeeta; and Mahala, Biranchi Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a system comprises a plurality of distributed nodes (102) interconnected through a communication network (104), a monitoring module (106) for collecting real-time performance metrics, an analysis module (108) for processing collected metrics, and an optimization engine (110) implementing a sine cosine model for optimizing system parameters. The system further includes a data placement optimizer (112), a routing optimizer (114), a coordination module (116), a fuzzy logic controller (118), and an energy storage management module (120). The optimization engine (110) update solution positions using trigonometric functions to balance exploration and exploitation. The fuzzy logic controller (118) enhances system stability under dynamic conditions. The present invention achieves improved efficiency, reduced latency, enhanced stability, and superior resource utilization in distributed computing environments and AC microgrid applications through integrated optimization of data placement, transmission routing, and energy storage operations."
