MUMBAI, India, April 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611022670 A) filed by Fiberise Fit Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, on Feb. 25, for 'system and method for low-viscosity hydrated fiber-mineral satiety water with gut balance.'
Inventor(s) include Diwakar Vaish; and Sakshi Dhall.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a low-viscosity fiber-hydration system for satiety support, gut balance, and metabolic wellness without gastrointestinal load. The system comprises an aqueous medium and a soluble dietary fiber dispersed at 2-20 g/L, formulated to remain non-gelling, non-viscous, and organoleptically neutral during storage and consumption. Unlike dry fiber supplements that hydrate and expand after ingestion, the fiber is delivered in a fully hydrated state, reducing gastric discomfort and improving tolerance. Satiety is supported without gastric volume expansion through delayed colonic fermentation of the soluble fiber and associated short-chain fatty acid signaling. In preferred embodiments, the soluble dietary fiber comprises resistant dextrin compatible with clear, water-like solutions. The system optionally includes trace minerals including sodium, potassium, and magnesium in physiologically compatible quantities to support hydration balance while maintaining water-like taste. A preparation method includes dissolving, optional mineralization, filtration, and sealed packaging to preserve clarity and low viscosity."
