MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521110534 A) filed by Symbiosis International, Pune, Maharashtra, on Nov. 12, 2025, for 'system and method for health prediction and personalized healthcare assistance using neural network.'

Inventor(s) include Ashish Nain; Ayush Roy; Abhay Mahajan; V. Kavyasri; Aniket K. Shahade; Mayur Gaikwad; Priyanka V. Deshmukh; and Shruti Patil.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A computer-implemented system for health prediction and personalized healthcare assistance using artificial neural networks and transformer-based natural language processing is disclosed. The system comprises a processor coupled to memory, wherein the processor executes a data acquisition module collecting user health data including lifestyle parameters and symptom descriptions, a data transformation module preprocessing data through categorical encoding and normalization, an artificial neural network classification module analyzing pre-processed data using deep learning architecture with multiple hidden layers to generate health status predictions with confidence scores, a health status determination module classifying individuals into health categories by comparing confidence scores against threshold values, a natural language processing interface module receiving text-based health queries, a transformer-based chatbot module processing queries using a fine-tuned T5-Small language model to generate contextually relevant medical responses, and a recommendation engine module generating personalized health recommendations."
