MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511126580 A) filed by Ranjit Roy; Anirban Chowdhury; and Tahiti Ranjit Roy, New Delhi, on Dec. 14, 2025, for 'system and method for four-stage sustainability optimization in pv and ev integrated networks.'
Inventor(s) include Ranjit Roy; Anirban Chowdhury; and Tahiti Ranjit Roy.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "System and Method for Four-Stage Sustainability Optimization in Photovoltaic and Electric-Vehicle Integrated Networks The disclosure relates to a system (100) and method (200) for four-stage sustainability optimization in a photovoltaic (PV) and electric-vehicle (EV) integrated distribution network (102). The system includes a data-acquisition module (104), a processing unit (106), and functional units comprising a photovoltaic estimation unit (108), an electric-vehicle power-exchange unit (110), a demand-response evaluation unit (112), and a load-flow computation unit (114). The photovoltaic estimation unit (108) performs probabilistic processing of irradiance data; the electric-vehicle power-exchange unit (110) calculates hourly grid inflow and outflow with cost association; the demand-response evaluation unit (112) computes load variation from price elasticity; and the load-flow computation unit (114) determines voltage, losses, operating cost, and emission cost. A sustainability-index module (116) generates a numerical representation of network performance combining voltage-stability index, total operating cost, and emission cost. The system enables measurable evaluation of technical, financial, and environmental performance of PV-EV integrated networks."
