Inventor(s) include Dr Suresh R Parekar; Dr. Avinash S Pant; Mr. Prashant V. Deshmukh; Dr. Manisha V Waghmare; Dr. Sneha P Khedekar; and Dr. Kalyanikulkarni.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "System and Method for estimating torsional strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) The present invention relates to a system and method for estimating torsional strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC). The system includes a process with memory configured to execute a torsional strength prediction module, which is configured to calculate the ultimate torsional strength of an SFRC beam by evaluating contributions from the concrete matrix and steel fibers, applying reduction factors based on T/M or T/V ratios depending on the failure mode, and outputting the final predicted strength along with the individual contributions. The proposed method mainly includes predicting the torsional strength of SFRC beams under combined loads by identifying failure mode, computing concrete and steel fiber contributions, applying reduction factors based on T/M or T/V ratios, and summing results to output ultimate torsional strength along with individual quantified contributions from concrete, fibers, and reduction effects."
