The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a system (100) for enabling release of hydrogen in vehicles. A secondary tank (110) includes: a first compartment (112) including a palladium block (114) to absorb hydrogen received from a primary tank (104), and a heating coil (116); a second compartment (118) including a heat exchanger (120); and a third compartment (122) to receive and accumulate the hydrogen. A controller (108) to: receive sensor data from a plurality of sensors disposed in the secondary tank (110), the sensor data includes at least one of temperature and pressure; actuate a valve (106) to regulate hydrogen flow between the primary tank (104) and the secondary tank (110); activate the heating coil (116) to maintain temperature of the palladium block (114); actuate the heat exchanger (120) to achieve a desired hydrogen delivery temperature; and release the hydrogen to meet requirement of an engine (206) of the vehicle (102)."
