MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441011114 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Feb. 16, 2024, for 'system and method for dynamic machine learning model distribution.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system (i.e., entity 1 or first entity) and method for providing client selection and model distribution assistance in Federated Learning/distributed Machine Learning (FL/ML) operations. The method comprising selecting dynamically, by a first entity (i.e., entity 1), at least one client from a plurality of clients based on client selection information related to the plurality of clients received from a second entity (i.e., entity 2) associated with the first entity (i.e., entity 1), for one of federated or distributed machine learning. The method comprising sending, by the first entity (i.e., entity 1), a request to train a ML model to the at least one client selected from the plurality of clients, wherein the request comprises information pertaining to a ML model to be trained by the at least one client."
