MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541125182 A) filed by Recurrent Software Private Limited, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Dec. 11, 2025, for 'system and method for context-aware threat detection based on spatial priority risk score.'
Inventor(s) include Abhishek Gupta; and Sai Sravan Ananthabhatla.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses an artificial intelligence (AI)-based system and artificial intelligence (AI)-based method for context-aware threat detection based on a spatial priority risk score. The AI-based system (102) classifies an associated monitored area into predefined zones and assigns a corresponding spatial priority weight to each predefined zone based on interpreted semantic relationships. The AI-based system (102) determines objects, persons, and behavioural patterns within the real time visual data. The AI-based system (102) isolates anomalous frames from frames of the real time visual data. The AI-based system (102) extracts a defined length of visual clip surrounding the isolated anomalous frames. The AI-based system (102) generates corresponding visual metadata associated with the defined length of visual clip. The AI-based system (102) generates a threat score based on analysing contextual meaning of activities. The AI-based system (102) computes the spatial priority risk score to determine the context-aware threat detection."
