MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521130650 A) filed by Symbiosis International, Pune, Maharashtra, on Dec. 23, 2025, for 'system and method for computer-implemented forecasting of climate parameters, emissions, and health outcomes using ml.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Shreyas Rajendra Hole.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A computer-implemented system for forecasting climate parameters, carbon dioxide emissions, and health outcomes using machine learning is disclosed. The system comprises a processor coupled to a memory storing executable instructions organized as specialized processing modules. The system receives multi-domain datasets from external databases including climate data spanning surface temperature and precipitation patterns, air quality indicators comprising particulate matter concentrations, socio-economic variables including gross domestic product and renewable energy consumption, and health system indicators including life expectancy and physician density. The processor executes a data processing module performing missing value imputation through hierarchical techniques, feature scaling transformations, and generation of derived variables including emissions intensity and healthcare resilience indices. The processor executes a machine learning module training multiple model architectures including random forest regressors, neural networks, and long short-term memory networks on preprocessed data to establish predictive relationships. The system provides technical advancement through integrated processing architecture reducing forecasting latency."
