MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521110504 A) filed by Symbiosis International, Pune, Maharashtra, on Nov. 12, 2025, for 'system and method for computer-implemented earnings call transcript analysis using multimodal natural language processing.'
Inventor(s) include Kornika Shrivastava; and Dr. Anupkumar M Bongale.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A computer-implemented system for automated financial earnings call transcript analysis and investment decision support is disclosed. The system comprises a processor and a memory storing executable instructions for natural language processing operations. The processor executes a data ingestion module receiving transcript data from user devices through a network, a text preprocessing module performing sentence segmentation and cleaning, a sentiment classification module analyzing segments using a financial domain-specific transformer model to generate sentiment labels and confidence scores, a topic modeling module extracting thematic topics using Latent Dirichlet Allocation algorithms, a text summarization module generating executive summaries using generative language models with optimized routing logic based on transcript length, and a feature engineering module extracting numerical features from structured financial data. The processor executes a multimodal integration module combining sentiment labels, confidence scores, topics, and numerical features into a unified feature vector."
