A presence of the UE (110) is estimated in one of an indoor environment or an outdoor environment based on a positional information of the UE (110) and identifier of serving cell serving the UE (110) from the crowd source data. By correlating one or more parameters corresponding to the crowd source data, the certainty of the estimation is determined. Based on the certainty of the estimation, the user environment of the UE (110) is classified as one of the indoor environment or the outdoor environment."
