MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641045799 A) filed by RV College Of Engineering, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on April 9, for 'system and method for causal-driven dynamic graph topology optimization via incremental structural causal model discovery.'

Inventor(s) include B Sathish Babu; Ibrahim Bagwan; Harsh Lilha; and Saif Mohtashim.

The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "System and Method for Causal-Driven Dynamic Graph Topology Optimization 5 via Incremental Structural Causal Model Discovery System (100) and method for causal-driven dynamic graph topology optimization via incremental structural causal model discovery and policy-constrained actuation is disclosed. The system (100) includes memory (102), processor (104), controller (106), GPU (108), and HTAP database (110). 10 GPU (108) is connected with HTAP database and controller. GPU is configured to ingest high-velocity event streams into DKG. GPU (108) is configured to transform DKG into continuous vectors suitable for gradient-based optimization. The GPU (108) is configured to obtain high-dimensional GRE using the continuous vectors. GPU (108) is configured to run localized conditional independence tests using GRE and incremental SCM discovery. GPU (108) is 15 configured to virtually test thousands of potential topology modifications before physical execution. GPU (108) is configured to perform entity extraction to identify graph primitives, thresholds, and modalities from potential topology modifications. GPU (108) is configured to trigger three-phase commit to update production database without downtime using extracted entity."
