The system (108) is embedded on an object which may include luggage/bag. The system (108) may register fingerprint data of the user(s) (102) within a database (110) configured with the system (108). The system (108) may authenticate any user (102) whose fingerprint data matches the fingerprint data recorded in the database (110), and authorize the user (102) for accessing the object. The fingerprint data may include a digital image of the fingerprint of the user(s) (102) or features extracted from the digital image or both."
