MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511123765 A) filed by Aha Automotive Innovations Llp, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Dec. 8, 2025, for 'system and method for automatic path-specific adaptive speed limit enforcement in a vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Akash.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system (100B) for a vehicle (102) is disclosed, comprising an electronic device (104) configured to control a speed limit of the vehicle (102). The electronic device (104) is operatively connected in a signal path between an accelerator pedal (106) and an electronic control unit (ECU) device (108) of the vehicle (102). The electronic device (104) acquires a current speed of the vehicle (102) moving along a path and obtains a speed limit value associated with the path. The electronic device (104) receives an accelerator pedal signal and generates a modified accelerator signal based on a difference between the current speed of the vehicle (102) and the speed limit value. The electronic device (104) communicates the modified accelerator signal to the ECU device (108) to cause the ECU device (108) to enforce the speed limit of the vehicle (102) to the speed limit value associated with the path."
