MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611007551 A) filed by Innoverse Future Technologies Private Limited, Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir, on Jan. 27, for 'system and method for automated management for status transitions of service resource.'

Inventor(s) include Manik Gupta.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A computer-implemented method and system for automated management for status transitions of service resource is disclosed. The system involves receiving a payment settlement event from a point-of-sale terminal indicating transaction completion. A processor monitors a volumetric occupancy sensor to confirm a vacancy condition based on an absence of occupants for a predetermined interval. Upon vacancy, the service resource transitions to a second state indicating a need for servicing. The system subsequently detects a staff identification device within a geofenced proximity zone of the service resource. A dwell duration of the staff identification device is monitored against a threshold to verify servicing activity. Upon the dwell duration exceeding the threshold, the digital status of the service resource is updated to a third state, indicating availability for assignment to a subsequent party."
