MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411073242 A) filed by Novus Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz Private Limited, Gurgaon, Haryana, on Sept. 27, 2024, for 'system and method for assessing a safety level of a fleet of vehicles.'

Inventor(s) include Nishant Kejriwal; and Anuj Kapuria.

The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system and a method for assessing a safety level of a fleet of vehicles. The system100 includes a monitoring unit102, a storage unit106, and a processor104. The monitoring unit102 measures a plurality of vehicle safety-related parameters within the fleet of the vehicles. The storage unit106 stores a plurality of data corresponding to each of the measured plurality of vehicle safety-related parameters. The processor104 is configured to process the stored plurality of data to quantify a significance of each parameter of the plurality of vehicle safety-related parameters, assign a weightage to each parameter, apply a non-linear transformation, calculate a composite safety score based on a weighted contribution of the non-linear transformed plurality of vehicle safety-related parameters, and classify the safety level of the fleet by comparing the calculated composite safety score with a plurality of predefined threshold values."
