MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514132147 A) filed by Envision Energy Co. Ltd., Jiangsu, China, on Dec. 26, 2025, for 'system and method for ammonia synthesis coupled with hydrogen production.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are a system and method for ammonia synthesis coupled with hydrogen production. The system includes: a hydrogen production module, a hydrogen deoxygenation module, an adsorption module, and an ammonia synthesis module connected in sequence; and a nitrogen supply module, a regeneration module, and the adsorption module connected in sequence. When one of the regeneration module and the adsorption module includes a first adsorption tower, the other includes a second adsorption tower. A hydrogen purification module, the nitrogen supply module, and the ammonia synthesis module are all connectable and disconnectable to the first adsorption tower and the second adsorption tower. The nitrogen supply module supplies nitrogen, the regeneration module uses nitrogen to perform desorption regeneration in the first adsorption tower or the second adsorption tower and supplies nitrogen to the adsorption module."
