MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541101070 A) filed by Bearly Technovations Private Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Oct. 18, 2025, for 'system and method for ai-integrated gait analysis.'
Inventor(s) include Sathyanarayanan Vasudevan; and Sriram Sundararajan.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The various embodiments of the present invention system and method for AI-integrated gait analysis enabling early detection of gait abnormalities, objective treatment response measurement, and predictive clinical decision support. The system comprises an insole pressure sensor module to measure ground reaction forces, an inertial measurement unit to capture foot and ankle motion, and a data acquisition and communication module to digitize and transmit synchronized gait data to a cloud data processing module. The cloud data processing module computes kinetic and kinematic gait parameters and stores them in a longitudinal patient record. An AI analysis and inference module compares parameters against normative ranges, detects anomalies, performs correlation and predictive modeling, and generates clinician-focused and patient-focused inferences. A reporting and visualization module produces comprehensive, graphical, gait reports with pre- and post-treatment comparisons, enabling clinicians to optimize therapy and monitor patient progress through a streamlined, three-minute gait analysis workflow."
