According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Described herein is a system (100) for measuring and indicating a non-idling state of a vehicle. The system (100) comprises an identification apparatus (102) configured to detect a non-idling condition of the vehicle, indicative of a condition when an engine of the vehicle is an OFF condition and the vehicle is stationary while at least one electrical accessory component of the vehicle is in an ON condition and a driver is present within the vehicle. The system (100) further comprises a control unit (104) configured to measure, using a timer circuit, a duration of the non-idling condition and correspondingly store the non-idling data. Further, the system (100) comprises an indication apparatus (106) configured to generate a visual indication representing the measured duration of the non-idling condition to the driver and/or external to the vehicle."
