MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517091577 A) filed by Omron Healthcare Co. Ltd., Kyoto, Japan, on Sept. 24, for 'system and communication device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are a system and a communication device that can easily perform pairing in a pair of an intended communication device and a measurement device. An information analysis system (100) comprises: a sphygmomanometer (10) that includes a first communication unit (12) that performs communication using a pairing-enabled communication method; and a communication device (20) that includes a second communication unit (22) that performs communication using a pairing-enabled communication method. The communication device (20) includes a radio wave shielding unit (25A) that, in a state of being placed on a placement surface (41), is erected in a direction crossing the placement surface (41) and is disposed to surround a communication antenna (22A) of the second communication unit (22), wherein the distance L1 between the placement surface (41) and the end edge of the radio wave shielding unit (25A) on the side opposite to the placement surface (41) side in a direction orthogonal to the placement surface (41) is equal to or greater than the height L2, in said direction, of the sphygmomanometer (10) placed on the placement surface (41)."
