MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102911 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 25, 2025, for 'synthetic ai-enhanced digital twin system for adversarial climate-aware irrigation scheduling in precision agriculture.'
Inventor(s) include Abdul Malik Ansari.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The Synthetic AI-Enhanced Digital Twin System (100) integrates synthetic climate simulation, digital twin modeling, and IoT-based irrigation control to achieve climate-resilient precision agriculture. The system comprises an IoT sensing layer (102) that gathers real-time field data, a synthetic AI engine (104) that generates adversarial climatic conditions, a digital twin model (106) simulating soil-crop-water dynamics, a robust optimization core (108) determining optimal irrigation schedules, and an IoT actuation layer (110) executing irrigation through smart controllers. The system adapts irrigation policies in real-time, reverting to safe defaults when significant deviations occur between actual and simulated data. It enables proactive irrigation planning under rare weather events, reduces water waste, and stabilizes yield, offering a predictive, scalable, and sustainable approach to agriculture under uncertain climate conditions."
