MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411078086 A) filed by Agrow Allied Ventures Pvt. Ltd., Gurugram, Haryana, on Oct. 15, 2024, for 'synergistically effective herbicide composition comprising atleast one hppd inhibitor.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a synergistically effective herbicide composition comprising at least one HPPD inhibitor, in combination with one more herbicide more particularly, Toperamezone, its salts, polymorphs, derivatives thereof; or Tembotrione, its salts, polymorphs, derivatives thereof; along with one more herbicide selected from b1 to b3, wherein b1 comprises an aromatic carboxylic acid selected from 2,4-D (2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid) and its salts or esters; MCPA (2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid) and its salts; or mixture thereof, b2 comprises a triazine based herbicide selected from Ametryn; Diuron, or mixture thereof, and b3 comprises a sulfonyl urea herbicide; wherein said synergistically effective herbicide composition is useful for weeds control."
