MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611050257 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on April 20, for 'synergistic phytochemical composition.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Chhaya Agarwal; and Dr. Dolly Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed herein is a synergistic phytochemical composition (100) that comprises a Nimbolide-enriched fraction (102) to reduce the ability of cancer cells to migrate and invade other tissues, a polyphenolic-enriched fraction (104) to reduce inflammation and abnormal cell growth, a terpenoid-enriched fraction (106) to provide anti-inflammatory and anti-metastatic effects, the Nimbolide is derived from Azadirachta indica, the polyphenolic-enriched fraction (104) is derived from Nyctanthes arbor-tristis, the terpenoid-enriched fraction (106) is derived from Eucalyptus globulus, the Nimbolide-enriched fraction (102) is present in an amount of 10-30% w/w, the polyphenolic-enriched fraction (104) is present in an amount of in 5-20% w/w, the terpenoid-enriched fraction (106) is present in an amount of 2-15% w/w of the total active composition (100), the specified range provides optimized therapeutic efficacy, controlled potency and stability of the composition (100) without causing undesirable effects."
