MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421035337 A) filed by Ross Lifescience USA Inc., Lorton, U.S.A., on May 3, 2024, for 'synergistic pesticide compositions and formulations thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a pesticide composition for controlling various indoor and outdoor pests, said composition including: Pogostemon cablin in an amount ranging from 1% to 25% by weight of the composition; Citral in an amount ranging from 1% to 30% by weight of the composition; Anethum graveolens in an amount ranging from 1% to 25% by weight of the composition; p-Cymene in an amount ranging from 1% to 30% by weight of the composition; Pimpinella anisum in an amount ranging from 1% to 25% by weight of the composition; and rest being an excipient. The ingredients of the composition of the present disclosure exhibit functional reciprocity there between, and accordingly aid in repelling, reducing, preventing, killing and/or controlling the population of indoor as well as outdoor pests."
