MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544088713 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Sept. 17, 2025, for 'synchronization signal periodicity indication.'
Inventor(s) include Arman Ahmadzadeh; Alessio Marcone; and Frank Frederiksen.
The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to the field of telecommunication and in particular to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for indicating a periodicity of a synchronization signal and/or performing actions based on the periodicity. One aspect of the disclosure provides an apparatus being caused at least to perform: receiving a broadcast channel, wherein the broadcast channel includes periodicity information; determining a periodicity of a synchronization signal based on the periodicity information; and perform at least one action based on the determined periodicity."
