MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517077965 A) filed by Barberan, S. A., Castelldefels, Spain, on Aug. 16, for 'synchronised drive method and system.'

Inventor(s) include Barberan Latorre, Jesus Francisco; and Aznar Marzo, Adrian.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a synchronised drive method and system of at least one processing device (1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3) for processing a substrate (S) that is moved by conveying means (10, 11, 12). The method comprises: obtaining a position signal (s0) by means of an encoder (3), said signal providing a position associated with the movement of the substrate (S) and/or conveying means (10, 11, 12) at each instant; and driving a processing device (1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3) when the position provided by the position signal (s0) from a positioning point (Pp) that the substrate (S) passes takes a given drive position value (V0). The method is characterised in that it further comprises: measuring, and/or obtaining data on physical and/or kinematic characteristics of the substrate (S) and/or of the conveying means (10, 11, 12) that are related to the movement; and correcting the position signal (s0; s; s'; sA, sB, sc) and/or the drive position value (V0; V; V'; VA, VB, Vc), based on the measurement or data obtained, to drive the processing device (1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3)."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 20, 2024, under International application No.PCT/ES2024/070097.
