MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517090561 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Sept. 22, for 'switching configuration method and apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed in embodiments of the present disclosure are a switching configuration method and an apparatus, applicable to the technical field of communications. The method executed by a terminal device comprises: receiving switching indication information sent by a network side device, wherein the switching indication information is used for indicating information of a target frequency band in a plurality of frequency bands, and the plurality of frequency bands are used for uplink antenna switching and respectively correspond to different switching periods; and according to the switching indication information, determining a switching period corresponding to the target frequency band as a target switching period. Therefore, a terminal device can determine a switching period corresponding to a target frequency band as a target switching period, thereby avoiding uplink antenna switching failure caused by incapability to determine a switching period."
