MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020058 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 18, 2024, for 'swimming training device.'

Inventor(s) include Vinod Kumar Tyagi; Neha Tyagi; Anita Rathore; and Naveen.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A swimming training device, comprising a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a chest portion of a user while attaining a swimming posture in a water body, a laser measurement sensor 2 installed on the platform 1 for measuring dimensions of the chest portion, a motorized roller 3 wrapped with a strap 4 arranged on the platform 1 for unwrapping the strap 4 for securing the platform 1 with the chest portion, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 5 installed on the platform 1 for capturing images of the user, a pair of telescopic rods 8 each configured with a motorized clamping unit 9 arranged on the plate 7 to fasten the rods 8 with the calve portion, an X-ray module 10 installed on the plate 7 for scanning the user's knee bones and multiple propellers 11 arranged underneath the platform 1 for providing movement to the platform 1."
