MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026131 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'sustainable room heating system.'
Inventor(s) include Sunny Dhiman; Puneet Kaur; Ankit Verma; and Sarthak.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A sustainable room heating system, comprising a platform 1 associated with the system is positioned on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 3 for providing input regarding requirement of temperature, a robotic arm 4 to grip an appropriate amount of wooden chips, a multi-sectioned chamber 2 stored with wooden chips, an electric ignitor 5 to lit a flame onto wooden chips, an exhaust fan to divert heated air of upper portion of body 6, a pneumatic plunger 8 to compress stored hot air, an electronically controlled nozzle 9 to dispense compressed hot air, a motorized iris lid to allow hot air passed in pipeline, a thermostat for monitoring temperature of inside of enclosure, a weight sensor for monitoring weight of wooden chips, a slidable lid for allowing ashes and debris to get collected."
