The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The current invention reveals the full-fledged digital platform aimed to evaluate and track the sustainability performance of companies in terms of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) indicators. Traditional sustainability measurement is based on manual data collection, fixed score systems and a disjointed disclosure system that is not real time visible and standardized in evaluation. The invention combines both the structured and unstructured information of the enterprise systems, the public disclosures, regulatory filings, and pertinent IoT-based environmental sensors in calculating the dynamic ESG performance indices. Machine-learning models can be applied to compare cross-dimensional dependencies, represent metrics across industries, and provide dynamic sustainability scores, which vary with the operational and policy adjustments. The tool has a modular dashboard to the executive and regulators, which is automated with ESG benchmarking, compliance alerts, and sustainability forecasting. Recalibration of weightages is continuous to address historical trends, feedbacks provided by the stakeholders, and the new global standards like GRI, SASB, and TCFD. With this, the invention enables enterprises to have a way to measure, administer, and convey their sustainable impact through embedding data intelligence into ESG evaluation to provide traceable, evidence-based insights."
