MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020061 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 18, 2024, for 'suspension testing device for two-wheelers.'

Inventor(s) include Jitendra Kumar Singh Jadon; Anil Kumar Joshi; Shoyab Hussain; and Raj Kishore Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A suspension testing device for two-wheelers, comprising of a platform 1 installed on a ground surface, a touch interactive display panel 2 for providing input regarding model number of a two-wheeler, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 to determine positioning of two-wheeler present in proximity to platform 1, a holographic projector 4 to project a virtual path on platform 1 through which two-wheeler is required to be positioned, a plate 5 for accommodating front wheel of a two-wheeler, an electromagnetic spring 6 to maintain an appropriate compressive strength that said user is required to sit on two-wheeler and press said front wheel for compressing spring 6, a pressure sensor for monitoring pressure exerted by front wheel against plate 5, a laser displacement sensor to monitor displacement of damper's spring during application of pressure, and an oil leakage detection sensor for monitoring any leakage of oil from two-wheeler's suspension."
