MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521118930 A) filed by Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat, on Nov. 28, 2025, for 'surveillance and security system for a facility.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A surveillance and security system for a facility comprising a mobile base 101, a GPS provides instant location tracking of base 101 for navigation, a plurality of LIDAR units detects obstacles to prevent collisions, a monitoring unit captures images and vibrational data for threat determination, a drone 110 with an imaging unit captures aerial footage, a detection module analyses data to identify intrusion, unusual movement, tampering or altercation, an escape prevention unit prevents unauthorized exits, extendable barriers block movements during altercations, a behavioural analysis module evaluates body language to generate behaviour scores, a facial recognition module identifies inhabitants and a display unit 116 with a speaker 117 provides visual and audio alerts within the facility."
