MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517056655 A) filed by Posco Co. Ltd, Gyeongsangbuk, Republic of Korea, on June 12, for 'surface treatment solution composition for plated steel sheet, plated steel sheet surface-treated using same and method for manufacturing thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Choi, Chang-Hoon; Park, Il-Choun; and Kim, Jong-Kook.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to: a surface treatment solution composition capable of enhancing the corrosion resistance, lubricity, etc. of a zinc alloy plated steel sheet; a plated steel sheet surface-treated using same; and a method for manufacturing of the plated steel sheet."
