MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517050477 A) filed by Posco Co. Ltd., Gyeongsangbuk, Republic of Korea, on May 26, for 'surface treatment composition for zinc alloy plated steel sheet, zinc alloy plated steel sheet surface-treated using same and method for manufacturing same.'
Inventor(s) include Cho, Soo-Hyoun; and Kim, Jong-Kook.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a surface treatment composition, a zinc alloy plated steel sheet surface-treated using same and a method for manufacturing same, the composition being capable of providing excellent corrosion resistance, fingerprint resistance, and contamination/discoloration resistance properties to a zinc alloy plated steel sheet used as a construction material or the like."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 17, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/018586.
