MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517049897 A) filed by Toyo Kohan Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on May 23, for 'surface-treated steel sheet and battery container.'
Inventor(s) include Watanabe, Takahiro; Uehara, Kaori; Hashimoto, Yusuke; Tsutsumi, Etsuro; Horie, Shinichirou; and Matsushige, Daisuke.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a surface-treated steel sheet including a steel sheet and an Fe-Ni diffusion layer that is formed on at least one outermost surface of the steel sheet, wherein the ratio IB/IA of the maximum diffraction intensity IB at a diffraction angle 2? of 44.51 to 45.00 to the maximum diffraction intensity IA at a diffraction angle 2? of 43.00 to 44.30 as determined by thin film X-ray diffraction measurement of the surface of the Fe-Ni diffusion layer satisfies 0.01 = IB/IA = 0.37."
The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 27, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/038957.
