MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026158 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 29, 2024, for 'surface leveling assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include V. K. Tyagi; Sahdev Singh; Jitendra Kumar Singh Jadon; and Anuj Goyal.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A surface leveling assistive device that comprises of a platform 1 positioned over a ground surface that is to be levelled by means of plurality of motorized omnidirectional wheels 2 arranged beneath the platform 1, wherein a T-shaped telescopic handle 3 is attached with the platform 1 that is accessed by a user to move the platform 1 over the surface, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 installed over the platform 1 and synced with a LIDAR sensor for capturing and processing images of the ground surface, a pair of hydraulic rods 5 to extend in view of positioning a rotatable cylindrical member 6, multiple curved links 7 configured over outer periphery of the member 6 to extract big stones, and a motorized shaft 8 to rotate in clockwise and anti-clockwise direction in a reciprocatory manner."
