MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117019 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'surface finishing device for cast-in-place reinforced structure.'
Inventor(s) include Amol Purohit.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A surface finishing device for cast-in-place reinforced structure, comprising of a rectangular frame 101 configured to place around a platform, a display unit 102 attached with the frame 101 to give input commands, an imaging unit 103 mounted with the frame 101 to detect dimensions of said platform, a drawer arrangement 104 to extend/retract to secure the frame 101 with the platform, an ultrasonic sensor in synchronization with the imaging unit 103 to detect unevenness surface of the structure, and a robotic arm 105 equipped with a flap 106 to gently apply pressure over the structure, a motorized slider 107 installed in between the arm 105 and frame 101 to translate the arm 105 along periphery of the platform to remove unevenness from entire structure, and a moisture sensor 108 is installed with the frame 101 to detect moisture contents in the structure."
